If you had a car or gas motorcycle before, how much less are you using it now? |

I use the Vectrix to replace my commuting journey, which is a 25-mile round trip every weekday. I still use my petrol car (a Vauxhall Corsa) to collect my shopping, once a week, which is about 3 miles, and maybe two or three times a year I'll take a trip to see my relatives: 50 miles, 80 miles or 150 miles depending on which of them it is. So I will do about 350 to 400 miles per year on petrol, and about 6000 miles on the Vectrix.
Ideally. Practically, there are still times I take the car in to work: if I have to carry large items in or out of the office, or if it's icy. |

I've replaced 90% of my primary mode of transport with the Vectrix. I use it to travel to and from work and even use it for work related excursions.
I have a small diesel car that gets very little use now mainly just longer trips out of town on the weekends.
The Vectrix is cheaper and more convenient than public transport. And for shorter trips I still use the bicycle. |
